Occupational Therapist

DEADLINE: UNTIL POSITION IS FILLED.

The San Luis Valley Board of Cooperative Educational Services has a position for a full-time occupational therapist. In-person is preferred, but will consider remote. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 – 4:30; 149 days per year. Salary range is $46,350 – $80,000. Paraprofessional Vacancy

Position: Paraprofessional
Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8 hours per day (follows school schedule)

Overview: We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessionals to join our team in supporting students in significant support classrooms. This role is integral to creating a positive and productive learning environment for students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers in implementing instructional plans and classroom activities.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with significant learning needs.
• Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Assist with classroom organization and preparation of materials.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working with students with significant support needs is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and parents.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting student development.

Salary and Benefits:
• Salary Range: $23,709 ($19.89/hour) – $27,584 ($23.14/hour)

Behavioral Health Provider

The San Luis Valley Board of Cooperative Education Services (SLV BOCES) is seeking applications for a Behavioral Health Provider. Qualified candidates must hold the necessary license from the Colorado Department of Education or possess and endorsement of an accepted area by the Colorado Department of Education.

Salary: $44,979 – $79,979, bases on education and experience.

Schedule: 153 days per year, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, plus two Friday workdays for professional development.
